About the Project
Adams County is interested in learning how community members travel to essential destinations like work, school, grocery stores and transit stops. To guide these efforts, we want to hear directly from you! The County is considering several electric mobility programs and is gathering community feedback to shape these decisions.

Focus Groups are FULL!
If you expressed interest, the team is considering a third Focus Group in the eastern portion of the County. Stay tuned. The survey is a great way to share your input - click the button above to get started. Thanks to all who joined the discussions for Jan. 11 and Jan. 16.
When you think about going from point A to point B, you probably think of using a car. But not every trip has to rely on a personal vehicle. Adams County wants to make travel easier by offering other options that are convenient, affordable, and available to everyone. This project is designed for community members who:
- Want more eco-friendly ways to travel
- Have only one vehicle, no vehicle, or unreliable transportation
- Are not able to drive or would rather not drive
- Have trouble getting to work, appointments, or the store
- Depend on others for rides
- Need to cancel or change trips because of bad weather
- Want to cut down on the number of cars they own
- Spend a lot of money on transportation
Potential Solutions
This project is focused on finding practical solutions to travel challenges people in unincorporated Adams County experience. The following programs are being considered for a pilot project:
- E-bike/E-scooter share program (sometimes called "micromobility"): a service that allows community members to rent an e-bike or e-scooter for short amounts of time.
- Carshare program: a service that allows community members to rent vehicles for short periods.
- Community shuttle program (sometimes called “microtransit”): flexible shuttle or van services that operate either on a fixed schedule or on-demand, allowing community members to book trips via an app or phone call.
This project is funded through the Colorado Energy Office’s Community Accelerated Mobility Program.
