Drawing from the input provided through the first survey for the Comprehensive Plan this spring, a Steering Committee meeting on June 3rd and a Community Cookout on June 12th will gather additional input on the types of development and land uses, as well as the parks and open space features, they would like to see in the De Beque area in the future. Results from the First Community Survey
Thank you to everyone who provided input on the first community survey for the De Beque Comprehensive Plan this spring! Be on the lookout for another survey and more opportunities to provide input as the plan comes into focus this summer.
Background
The Town of De Beque is beginning the process to update the Town's Comprehensive Plan, which establishes the vision and priorities for the community for the next 10 to 20 years.
Goals for the Comprehensive Plan
- Establish overall vision for the community for the next 20 years
- Establish key goals and actions to guide community growth and evolution
- Provide the foundation for follow-up projects to be completed by the Town of De Beque and community groups to achieve the community’s vision
