Lincoln and Lancaster County are advancing a coordinated transportation and mobility planning effort to guide how people and goods move across the region through 2050. These plans create the framework for long-term investment decisions that support growth, safety and everyday mobility.
For agencies and partners this work will:
- Align with federal and state requirements for planning and funding.
- Provide data and analysis for coordinated decisions.
- Establish investment priorities based on technical evaluation and community input.
- Ensure consistency across jurisdictions and travel modes.
Coordinated Effort
This process connects with other major initiatives, including the Lincoln-Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan and Safe Streets Lincoln Vision Zero Action Plan. Coordination reduces duplication, builds a unified regional strategy, and strengthens opportunities for funding and implementation.
