The Town of Wellington is developing a Transportation & Mobility Plan to guide future transportation investments, policies, and improvements that support the community’s long-term vision for mobility, safety, and connectivity.
The project team has completed the current and future conditions assessment and the first phase of community engagement, which focused on understanding how people travel throughout Wellington today, identifying transportation challenges and opportunities, and establishing a community-informed vision and goals for the future transportation system.
The project team is now developing transportation recommendations, including future roadway, bicycle, pedestrian, and intersection improvements, as well as updated transportation policies, street design standards, and implementation strategies to support Wellington’s continued growth.
The next phase of community engagement will begin in June 2026 and will focus on understanding community priorities, preferences, and tradeoffs related to future transportation investments and recommendations.
