Lone Tree Elevated: Review Draft Comprehensive Plan

Communities regularly update Comprehensive Plans to guide growth over the next decade and beyond. These plans set goals and actions for land use, transportation, housing, economic development, and more.

Lone Tree’s latest Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2019, remains consistent in direction but is being updated as “Lone Tree Elevated” to address new challenges like development, housing, technology, and commuting trends. This update will also inform a revision of the City’s Land Use Code to better align with community needs.

A Steering Committee, including residents and business leaders, led the process, which involved extensive community outreach through surveys, events, workshops, and more.

The draft plan is now available for public feedback until October 31, 2024, before adoption. You can comment via the comment form or during the public hearings leading up to adoption (dates to be determined).
